Ruby is an online magazine for women of all ages. A century ago, women’s magazine ran about 600-800 pages with very few advertisements. They were chock full of articles on fashion, health, families, cleaning, cooking. They had poems and stories and entries from reader. Ruby will take you back to that time, improved by technology!

We want to cover all the things that interest you – as a woman. You can help us by giving us feedback – what is it you want in a women’s magazine that you don’t find? Or maybe you have to purchase 7 womens magazines to get it all in! We want to include it all in Ruby.

Our editorial staff is growing every day. We’re getting our topics covered! From time to time you may see posts on this blog, from one of our Editors, asking for input, submissions, feedback etc. I hope you’ll help them out.

We want to provide fashion in Ruby – but in a different way than you’ve see it before. Stay tuned for info on that!

Right now, as we prepare for the first issue on July 1, we could use some help from you. We need pictures! Pictures of things that are important to you. Your children being goofy, your sweetie, your grandbaby, the new curtains you just made, the loaf of bread you baked, the neighbors roses blooming – it doesn’t matter what it is. We would be honored for you to share them with us, so we can share them with everyone else.

Send your .jpgs attached to an email to editor@cottonspice.com with a short description (or a long one if it needs it!) and your name, city and state. You can include your full name, initials or a combination, whatever makes you more comfortable.
